WINDY CITY WINNIES

BYLAWS

ARTICLE I - NAME

The name of this organization shall be the Windy city Winnies, a local chapter of the Winnebago-Itasca travelers (WIT), as of May 29, 1973.

ARTICLE II - CHAPTER COLORS AND SYMBOLS

The chapter colors are Green and White. The chapter symbol is the skyline of Chicago.

ARTICLE III - MEMBERSHIP

Definition: The term “member” as used herein, is defined as the person or persons who are members in good standing with WIT and have been accepted into membership of the Windy City Winnies.

ARTICLE IV -MEETINGS

1. Regular meetings of the local chapter, as far as practical, shall be held during scheduled outings. Additional meetings may be held if so decided by the chapter or executive board.

2. The fiscal year of the chapter shall begin on November 1 and end the following October 31. The annual meeting shall be the November meeting at which time officers shall be elected. Such officers are to take office immediately. Dues are due on or before November 1. .Any member that does not pay their dues by January1^st., after being sent a reminder letter in December. shall be dropped from the roles of the club.

3. Special meetings of the membership may be called by the president or by any three members of the chapter upon notification to all members of the chapter.

4. A quorum of the chapter shall consist of 20 percent of the members. Regular members shall be entitled to one vote for each adult owner of a unit. Proxy votes are not legal in any voting.

ARTICLE V - AMENDMENTS

1. These bylaws may be amended by any majority vote of the members present at any regular meeting of the chapter, provided a quorum is present, following a regular meeting where the amendment was first proposed with written notice to the membership.

ARTICLE VI - MISCELLANEOUS

1. Annual dues may be adjusted before the start of a fiscal year by vote of a quorum of the membership.

2. For any item or situation not specifically included in the bylaws, please refer to the national WIT bylaws.

ARTICLE VII - AMENDENT

1. NEW MEMBER DUES will be pro-rated 1/12^th of the current yearly dues per month to be paid through October 31.

On November 1, the full yearly dues would come due.

These bylaws supersede all previous bylaws:
